The Mama Circle: Prenatal Yoga and Beyond

This class will honor each woman’s unique journey and offer tools for her pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum times. Yoga postures will help the practitioner to alleviate and integrate common discomforts and diverse sensations in pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum healing. This class creates a time for you to consciously move, breathe, and connect with your baby and your body. Practicing yoga while pregnant and as a woman, promotes balance in the nervous and hormonal systems and improves circulation for the mother, the woman, the baby, and the reproductive system. A prenatal yoga practice allows the expecting woman to integrate into her shifting physiology with more ease. Class sequences will be simple and gentle, nourishing and comfortable, for both the baby and mother.

Establishing community and a safe space to listen, ask questions, and be, is also a strong intention set for this class.
