Breath & Meditation

This class will focus on breathing exercises that will increase your lung capacity, nourish the circulatory system, help to balance seasonal allergies, and help to focus the mind in preparation for meditation. At the beginning of the class, students can expect a few simple yoga postures that prepare the body for breathing exercises (pranayama). From here, students will move into a gentle, unforced meditation practice. The idea is to move from the gross to the more subtle aspects of the yoga practice.
